Build a library you can find your way around.

A small amount of organization now saves a lot of searching later.

As a show grows, drafts, final audio, artwork, and notes can become difficult to distinguish. Give each episode a clear place in your workspace.

Name the final version

Use consistent episode identifiers and make the approved audio file obvious. Keep source recordings separate from the publishing file.

Keep the notes with the episode

Store the title, description, guest details, and chapter notes alongside the audio. This makes review and handoff simpler.

Review the catalog

Periodically check old descriptions and links. Your back catalog continues to introduce people to your show.
